Mad Cow Theatre is a compelling organization on the Orlando arts scene. What began in 1997 as a two-show project has taken off into season-after-season of successful productions that showcase a cast of talented actors.

Because of its collaborative nature, the Mad Cow Theatre received the Golden Brick Award for outstanding contribution to downtown life. Mad Cow Theatre has also been named Best Theatre by Orlando Magazine for two years in a row.

Past productions have included "The Cherry Orchard," "Speed The Plow," "The Laramie Project," "Sweeney Todd" and "The Fantasticks." The theater thrives on collaboration and creation, from crafting sets to holding in-depth rehearsals. The company has received numerous awards, including Arts Innovator of the Year by United Arts of Central Florida, several Umbrella Awards at The Orlando International Fringe Festival and Best Theatre Company from Orlando Magazine and The Orlando Weekly.
