The National Vietnam War Museum is owned and operated by the Vietnam Veterans of Central Florida. This organization helps military members and veterans, in addition to preserving the legacy of the American men and women who served and fought in the Vietnam War.
The goal of the museum is to memorialize those who served, so that current and future generations of Americans remember the Vietnam Veterans legacy of service, sacrifice, and valor.
The museum includes the first monument to the fallen veterans of Florida, and contains 167 names from the area. Other exhibits include a U.S. Navy Patrol Boat River, a Douglas A-4B Skyhawk aircraft on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation, and a Bell UH-1 (Huey) Dustoff helicopter.
